Test Policy
A Test Policy is a high-level document that defines an organization's testing standards, objectives, and overall quality goals. It sets the overarching direction for all testing activities within the company.
Example: A company-wide Test Policy might state that all mission-critical applications must achieve a minimum of 95% test coverage for all new features and that all production issues must have a corresponding test case written to prevent recurrence. This policy provides the framework for more detailed documents like the Test Strategy and Test Plan.
