Retrospective
A Retrospective is a meeting held at the end of an iteration or project phase where a team reflects on its performance. The purpose is not to assign blame, but to openly discuss what went well, what could be improved, and what changes should be implemented in the next cycle. This process fosters a culture of continuous improvement, helping the team learn from both successes and failures.
Example: After a two-week sprint to develop and test a new dashboard feature, a team holds a retrospective. They discuss why testing took longer than expected and realize that the test environment was unstable. To improve, they decide to prioritize fixing the environment in the next sprint to prevent similar delays. They also celebrate the successful collaboration between a developer and a designer, deciding to replicate that process for future tasks.
