Acceptance Testing

Acceptance Testing is the final phase of testing that evaluates a system's readiness for deployment by confirming that it aligns with user needs and business requirements. It's a formal process that verifies the software's functionality, performance, and overall fitness for use from the perspective of the end-user or client.

Example: Before a new online tool for project management is launched, the product team and key clients participate in Acceptance Testing. They perform a series of real-world tasks, such as creating a new project, assigning tasks to team members, and generating a project report, to confirm that the tool is intuitive, reliable, and meets all of the agreed-upon business requirements.
