User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

User Acceptance Testing (UAT) is the final stage of testing where end-users or clients formally verify a software product to confirm it meets their business needs and requirements. This testing is often conducted in a production-like environment to ensure the application is ready for real-world use.

Example: A company launches a new human resources portal. Before it goes live, a team of employees from different departments performs User Acceptance Testing (UAT). They use the portal to complete their daily tasks, such as requesting time off, viewing their payroll, and updating personal information, to confirm the system is intuitive, functional, and aligns with their job responsibilities.
