CX Testing
CX Testing is a type of testing that evaluates the entire customer journey and experience with a product or service. This approach goes beyond just checking for defects and instead focuses on the user's overall satisfaction, ease of use, and emotional response across all touchpoints, from initial contact to post-purchase support.
Example: A company performs CX Testing on its online shopping platform. Instead of just verifying that the checkout button works, a tester might follow a complete user journey: they assess how easy it is to search for a product, the clarity of the product descriptions, the simplicity of the checkout process, the speed of the confirmation email, and the helpfulness of the online support chat. This evaluation provides a holistic view of the customer's experience.
